Well, we’re quickly moving into the fall season again and I am planning the required rides for the Cycling merit badge. Looking ahead at all of the activities that are on everyone’s schedules, I have planned the rides to be completed by around the end of October 2010. It will probably get too cold as we move into November, but if we still have Scouts that need additional rides and the weather will allow it, we could have some rides in November. However, the 50-mile trip is tentatively planned for late October. Scouts that don’t complete the requirements during these rides are welcome to ride on their own providing they have the proper adult leader supervision and at least 2 Scouts riding on each ride.
